Sell your Navratri passes online, take UPI straight into your mandal’s own account, and check people in at the gate with any volunteer’s phone — even when the network drops.

Paper is copied, lost and counted by hand. Here a pass is on the phone, the QR changes every 15 seconds, every entry is logged with who scanned it, and at the end you get the count and a ledger instead of a register. You can still sell at the counter for cash, the same night.

The gate does not need it: open the gate screen once with signal before doors, the signed list stays on the phone, and scans sync later. Selling at the counter and confirming payments do need a network — do those at the desk, where there is signal or a hotspot.

Each volunteer sees only their job. The gate is one screen and a full-screen colour: green in, red refused with a reason, amber when they must decide. Dead phone? Search the name, tick “I saw their ID”, let them in. Run one practice night first.

The money never touches Pravesh ID: buyers pay your committee’s UPI directly. A booking can only point at your mandal’s own active account, every confirmation records who confirmed and when, and nobody without the money permission can see or confirm payments.

That is what makes a pass useless to anyone else. It is once per person per mandal, valid 12 months, and covers all nine nights and the family on the same booking. No Aadhaar number or photo is stored. Put the desk next to the gate so it is one stop on night one.

A booking that has a UTR never lapses on its own, and the desk list puts the oldest first with a red “overdue”.

Nothing is sent automatically. The buyer keeps the pass link on screen, can send it to themselves on WhatsApp and add it to the home screen; the desk can also send it from a volunteer’s own WhatsApp.
